What’s in My Stack?

Do you know what question I absolutely love?

“What are you reading?”

I read ALL THE TIME, and usually have multiple books going at once. New books, old favorites, books that have been sitting on my shelf just waiting for their turn – I love ‘em all!

I read for so many different reasons. Sometimes I’m looking for a tasty morsel of inspiration. Sometimes I lean into the comfort of an old comforting friend. And some days, I want something that shakes me up and turns my old views on their ear!

There is nothing like a good book, so I thought I’d give you a peek at the (towering!) stack that’s currently on my nightstand:

  • Play Your Bigger Game by Rick Tamlyn

I’ve known Rick for decades! He is so committed to the Bigger Game work in all its forms. I read it again recently because this year I’m up to a bigger game and I wanted to brush up on the finer points of his fabulous model!

  • Oversubscribed by Daniel Priestley

This was recommended by one of my coaches, and even though I’m just a little way into it, I LOVE it! It really calls you forth to create a world class business. When you go all-out to bring the best experience to your clients…there is no competition.

  • Who Do We Choose to Be? by Margaret Wheatley

She is one of my longtime favorite authors because she makes me think about the impact I’m having on the bigger world. I’ve had this book for months and I’m dipping into it once a week for inspiration on how to not give up hope, embrace chaos as a natural cycle in the world and how to do my part (that’s my stretch), and be right here, where I am. Make a difference right here, where I am.

  • Sidewalk Oracles by Robert Moss

This book is SO FUN! It was introduced to me by one of my creative coaches, Monica Kenton. She teaches amazing dream work and Robert is one of her mentors. This book takes synchronicities and signs to a whole new level!

  • The Course in Miracles Experiment by Pam Grout

Have you read any of her books? She takes spirituality and quantum physics and turns them on their heads by making them fun and usable with everyday examples and language. There’s a message each day based on ACIM. It always makes me smile and often makes me laugh while reinforcing a beautiful approach to managing your thoughts and your life.

As you can see, it’s quite a stack. Probably like you, my stack of books is part of my regular decor. I love reaching for the perfect message each day!

I’d love to hear what you’re reading (because I always like to have a great lineup waiting!). If you’ve got a book you absolutely love, send me an email to share and I’ll add it to my list!
